Three SRA Employees Receive Women of Color Government and Defense Technology Awards

FAIRFAX, Va., July 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SRA International, Inc. (NYSE: SRX) announced today that three of its employees -- Marjorie Davis, Victoria Nguyen, and Dr. Mila Ramos-Santacruz -- have received Women of Color Government and Defense Technology Awards naming them top industry leaders. The awards recognize distinguished women making major contributions in the fields of math, engineering, science, and information technology. The winners will be honored at the second annual Women of Color Government and Defense Technology Awards Conference held in Washington, D.C., July 18 and 19. The awards program and conference is sponsored by Career Communications Group, Inc., publisher of U.S. Black Engineer & Information Technology and Hispanic Engineer & Information Technology magazines.

Marjorie Davis, Director of Operations for the company's Command and Control, Communications, and Intelligence (C3I) business unit, was recognized for managerial leadership. In her current role, Davis manages all aspects of operations for the business unit, including personnel management for 300 people, operational oversight of over 80 technical projects, and development and implementation of internal processes. She has held other diverse leadership and management positions since joining SRA in 1990.

Victoria Nguyen, technical lead on a major project for the Internal Revenue Service, was named in the new media category. Throughout her career at SRA, Nguyen has excelled in roles that include software testing lead engineer, senior systems engineer, and technical team lead. She also serves as an active mentor for other technical team members at SRA.

Dr. Mila Ramos-Santacruz was selected for a special recognition technology award. She is an internationally recognized expert in computational linguistics and has been a leader in the company's research and development efforts since 1995. Ramos-Santacruz received a Women of Color "rising star" award in 2001.
